Jessica Caban was a contestant on Model Latina, where she was crowned the first ever Model Latina champion. She began her career in 2002, after being chosen to represent Jennifer Lopez's line "J-LO" as a runner-up in a nationwide search. She was later featured in many commercials, magazines.
Jessica's second Best Actress in a Feature Film Award was won at the Hoboken International Film Festival in June 2010 again for her role as Thea Gala Larson in "Are You For Great Sex?" Jessica was serendipitously discovered for this role at John F. Kennedy International Airport by Director Cynthia Hsiung. It was Ms. Caban's first acting role in a feature film. The film was released in September 2011 and has to date won 5 Awards in three Film Festivals. Shot on location in New York City, it is based on the true story of two New Yorkers caught up in an ethereal soul mate sexual modern love story and has been described as "The Notebook" meets "Unfaithful" meets everyday life.
